Jeffery Schonberger
Jeff Schonberger has spent much of his career helping companies and clients identify and secure the ideal location. Jeff is an experienced commercial real estate professional with more than 40 years in land acquisition, site development, leasing and sales.
Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Jeff’s family moved frequently during his teenage years, eventually landing in Kansas City where he finished high school and started college. While studying economics at the University of Missouri, Jeff also began working at Ford Motor Company, where he successfully rose the corporate ladder. When a recession hit in 1981, Jeff took the opportunity to move to the Valley of the Sun and started working as a business broker, which prompted him to secure his Arizona real estate license.
Jeff went on to focus on real estate site acquisition for quick service restaurant brands for a few years before joining the Eisenberg Company, where he developed company-owned shopping centers, leased retail space, sold ground-leased pads and retail centers. Prior to joining Davis Commercial AZ as a Senior Vice President, Jeff spent ten years as a sales associate with DeRito Partners negotiating sales and lease agreements for retail shopping centers and mixed-use developments.
As a Senior VP at Davis Commercial, Jeff will work with clients on site selection and land acquisitions, while also focusing on tenant placement for retail and office leases. Jeff is a longtime member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. He lives in the Arcadia area of Phoenix and is the proud father of three adult children. When he is not working, he spends time with friends and family hiking, riding his beach cruiser, enjoying concerts and live entertainment and weekend getaways exploring Sedona and Flagstaff.
